Are you asking how to synchronize files changes on the remote server to a copy of those files on your local machine?

I am using WinSCP to get access to my FTP Server. I want to automatically save changes on my local computer, so I can easily push it to my GitHub repo. Until now, I have to copy all files(2.5GB), which takes sometimes 2hours, and then I can push them to GitHub. If you have any other idea how to best work with FTP and GitHub please write it too!
