Re: Copying large file from UNIX server- Any issues with internet connection drops

The current version would reconnect and resume the transfer.
I have no idea how WinSCP 3.8 would behave. It's 15 years old! You urgently need to upgrade.

Copying large file from UNIX server- Any issues with internet connection drops

Hi Team,
I am copying a large database dump from unix server to my laptop. The file size is 117 GB. The estimated time of file copy is 1 day 9 hrs. I might not be able to monitor copy progress through out the time, what happens if internet drops and connects back. Will the file copy continue and resume from the point of failure. I have seen in forum that it will resume from point of failure. Since I am using old version of Winscp , does this version also has that feature. Version , I am using is 3.8.0 (build 312). Can you please clarify this?
