Creating Links and Shortcuts

You can create symbolic and hard links (not all protocols allows this). In Norton Commander interface you can also create local shortcuts.

To create new link/shortcut make sure that any link/shortcut is not selected in file panel and go to File(s) > Add/Edit Link. Add link/shortcut dialog will appear. Selected file will become initial target of the link/shortcut. You can of course change it to whatever you want.

To change target of existing link/shortcut, select it in file panel and go to File(s) > Add/Edit Link. Edit link/shortcut dialog will appear.
